The Year is 2003

Exactly 3 kilometers from the Great Terrace along the lake’s eastern shore, at Palićki salaši 222 (Novosadski put), there is the old authentic cottage of Vojvodina.

Behind the reeds, in the wild chestnut shade, surrounded by high-quality arable land, it stands alone on the very shore of the lake – almost forgotten. It had no idea it would be one of the new symbols of Palić – worthy of the old spa complex facilities built in the golden age of baths at the end of the XIX century.

The Year is 2009

We planted the vineyard with the best vine clones, 6.250 vines per each hectare, on 3.5 hectares in total.
We improved 6.5 hectars with plants and planted a monumental garden.

With the birth of our daughter, the idea of our winery was born. And not just any idea, but a vision!

PETRA Winery… the one that is standing out, that is uniqe, coexisting with nature, not contrasting it. A place that is harmonious, full of taste and interesting details – just like the wines that will be produced with love (and respect for the nature).
Harmony with nature will be the foundation of our production.
We will invest as much as we expect to get back.
We will be consistent with the idea and quality – that is imperative! Our basic philosophy is: “Our wine is made in our vineyard!”
With this vision of the Gubičak Family, a new life began, and it already achieved a legacy for the future, a legacy for children, for Palić and Subotica…

In order to serve its new perpose, the conversion of 10 hectares of intensively cultivated agricultural land was made.

Before the construction of any facility and the planting of the first vines, the current park was approached. We improved 6.5 hectars with plants and planted a monumental garden.
